I agree… It is disappointing that traditional science education doesn’t include other points of view. When I was in graduate school I was so frustrated with this that I taught a course on the history and philosophy of neuroscience… Fortunately, we covered the way the scientific community viewed the brain over the centuries. Unfortunately, we didn’t even consider looking more broadly at other traditions… It is time to start now.
