I think you missed my point… My blog post was not about all the things that go into making a good teacher at every grade level. It was about the importance of connecting with students and inspiring them to learn.

I ask lots of people about the number of teachers in their lives who really inspired them, and the number is sadly low. For me, it is only 5 teachers over 20 years of school… I know that students at every grade level are hungry for teachers who really inspire them. My post outlined some of the ways to do that.
